Creativity Talks - Raising of America

This event is no longer on sale.

Thursday November 5

6:30 PM  –  7:45 PM

Research shows that robust childhood education programs establish solid foundations for lifelong success, leading to increased academic performance and producing happier, healthier members of society. These impacts are even larger for low-income communities, resulting in a $17 return on every $1 invested. Early childhood education is the most impactful investment to close the achievement gap. So why do we, as a nation, make it so hard for our children to thrive?

Join us for a screening of the documentary “The Raising of America” followed by a discussion with Laurel Ruth Kloomok from First 5 San Francisco, Kathleen Tabor from Marin Kids/Marin Strong Start and Kara Dukakis from Too Small to Fail.

The event will begin promptly at 6:30; doors open at 6.
